April 16, 2026 – EAST CLEVELAND, OHIO – Cuyahoga Land Bank today announced a

$100,000 contribution from Honda to support sustainability in the Circle East District. The

contribution will help advance the organization’s work to provide sustainable, forward-

thinking development in Northeast Ohio that is grounded in both environmental

responsibility and long-term community value.

“On behalf of Cuyahoga Land Bank, we are incredibly grateful to Honda for their generous

$100,000 investment in sustainability efforts at the Circle East District,” Land Bank Chief

Strategy Officer, Dennis Roberts said. “This support not only advances environmentally

responsible development, but also helps us build stronger, healthier neighborhoods that will

create lasting value for residents and the broader community.”

Honda is focused on reducing carbon emissions, utilizing clean energy, conserving

resources and helping nature thrive as part of its commitment to creating a better world for

future generations. Through its Environment pillar, Honda supports programs that align

with its mission to reduce environmental impact.

The installation of rooftop solar on owner-occupied homes within the Circle East project

area further strengthens household and community resilience by reducing monthly utility

costs for low-income households, improving energy security and reducing the impacts of

power outages or shutoffs that can endanger residents — particularly elderly residents and

those with chronic health conditions.
